On April 18th, Kurt Carlson gave an excelent review of his trip following WW2 sites from Normandy to the Rhine crossing in Germany. Kurt's historical reviews are always interesting, especially from the critical eye and because these events occurred nearly a century ago.
Our next meeting will be on April 1st and our guest speaker will be Glen Ellyn police chief Phil Norton. Phil has been a part of the Glen Ellyn law enforcement family for many years and doubtless will present a very interesting overview of his years of service.
This meeting will be open to the public so stop by Reserve 22 at 6:30 on April 1st for an interesting presentation and to find out what the Kiwanis# are about.

There once was a way to connect to the river all the way to Lisle (you need tough ankles for that one). He also described sledding down Main Street, Park Blvd and Hawthorne starting at Main and ending up on the lake. Try that today!! ... See MoreSee Less
