Glen Ellyn Kiwanis Club Food Drive

Successful Food Drive in partnership with the Glen House Food Pantry collected 1013 pounds of food and $410.75 donations in just 4 hours. Thanks to Kiwanis Aktion Club and GW Key Club for their help.

Aktion Club Fundraiser

Please support the Kiwanis Club of Glen Ellyn Aktion Club on Monday, April 7, 2005 for their spaghetti dinner fundraiser. It will be held at the Wheaton Park Dist Community Center, 1777 S Blanchard St, Wheaton. The cost is only $15 for spaghetti, salad, bread, drink and dessert. Tickets will be on sale until March 31st or until capacity is reached. Tickets will not be sold at the door. You can purchase tickets online HERE

70th Anniversary in review

A fun time had by all. Dion and Kurt hosted a great presentation reviewing life in 1954, Kiwanis club past and present and a visit by Elvis himself. We all partied like it was 1954!

Snack Packs

School is back in session, and we are slowly starting to assemble our snack packs as schools get on board. Week 1 Sept 4 Glenbard South Key Club handled all 310 snack packs with ease! Snack Packs were delivered to 4 Wheaton schools and 1 Warrenville School.

Week 2 Sept 11 Glenbard East Key Club signed up and assembled 318 snack packs.

Week 3 GECRC is starting their after-school program and will add about an additional 150 packs with a second Warrenville school ready to start

Barely more than a week left until the Lake Ellyn cleanup project sponsored by the Glen Ellyn Park District and Kiwanis Club of Glen Ellyn. If interested please register at the Park District site. There will be an opportunity for the kids to help restock the lake and learn a bit about conservation. Additionally, the Kiwanis will have a table where the kids can paint pictures of local fish.
